Marvel Thor Ragnarok wallet with metal badge
Thor (also called The Mighty Thor in Dutch) is a fictional superhero from the Marvel Comics comics. He is based on thunder god Thor from Norse mythology. Created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in the comic Journey into Mystery # 83 (August 1962).
On a mission from his father Odin, Thor often pretended to be a superhero. He continued to work under the secret identity of Dr. Donald Blake, an American physician with a partially paralyzed leg. Thor has also been a member of the superhero group De Vergelders for a long time.
Thor's nemesis is his adopted brother Loki - a Marvel character also based on a Norse god.
