This Tree of Life leather notebook is amazing and unique. Handmade from vegetable-tanned leather and handmade paper.
Vegetable tanning was the main tanning method until the 20th century and is now becoming increasingly important again. It uses extracts from bark, leaves, fruits, berries, roots and wood. This tanning method is safe for the environment and also for leather workers.
Vegetable-tanned leather can breathe. It can take up to 2 weeks for the leather to dry and turn a beautiful beige colour. The elements of nature seep into the grain over time, enhancing its authentic and earthy character. This notebook will age beautifully over time.
This notebook has a good size, elastic to keep it tightly closed. It contains blank pages, so you can write or sketch on it.
