Mario is known for thwarting Bowser's plans as Bowser wants to kidnap Princess Peach in order to rule the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario has other enemies and rivals besides Bowser, including Bowser's children, Donkey Kong (whom he later befriended) and Wario (his arch-rival).
