Greek God of the Underworld Hades with Cerberus
Hades is a brother of Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia and Demeter. When power and the world were divided between Zeus, Poseidon and himself, the subterranean kingdom of the dead fell to him, making him the third ruler of the world. He took part in the Titanic struggle at the side of Zeus. He does not allow anyone to return to the realm of the living. Several demons and spirits are in his service, such as Charon the ferryman who ferries the souls of the dead across the river Styx in his boat in exchange for an obol (a coin placed in the mouth of the deceased for this purpose).
The attributes of Hades are the two-toed tooth and Kerberos, the monstrous three-headed dog that guards the entrance to the Underworld. Hades also sometimes carries a bag of money, because he was sometimes honoured as a god of wealth. Hades also has a helmet that can make him invisible, given to him by the Cyclopes.
