Game of Thrones takes place in a fictional world in which seasons can last for years and magical creatures such as dragons appear. What followed was a gigantic uprising, the assassination of the entire Targaryen clan and the coronation of Robert Baratheon as the new king of the Seven Kingdoms. At his side Cersei Lannister, daughter of one of the richest families in the country, and the mighty Starks, a clan that watches over the North.
